i didn't watch/play or whatever much of digimon. so i can't really compare

I never got very deep into both, but I think to remeber that I tried to watch more Digimon than pokemon, because the setting wasn't all happy and floofy, but also dark themes (like this vampire antagonist of the really first series/generation)

But I can say any of the Digmon names anymore, they are just so bland and generic... Pokemon on the other hand had a way better brand for remembering stuff...

Err, Pokemon I guess, but I've never really looked at Digimon.
