(Jade Ivy 🗝) while we don't actually play mtg, we are heavily invested in the lore and worldbuilding, so this is gonna be purely from that perspective.
Jared Carthalion is cool because he's the only canon 5-colour planeswalker, and just kinda,,, randomly appeared in one of the Dominaria United Commander Decks and appearing in a side story after having literally no significance in any of the mtg story (and as far as was known up to that point, he didn't even exist at the same as any of the mtg story). So for him to suddenly show up as the only planeswalker to master all 5 colours of mana, just to ignore the complete destruction of Dominaria to do his own thing, then fucked off again,, that's something else.
We also like Sorin Markov, he just keeps trying to fix things, then his solution ends up making everything worse, and in the end his home plane pays the price, so eventually he just kinda,, shuts himself away. Also i just love that in the middle of the war of the spark he sees Nahiri and they both ignore the absolute calamity going on around them to beat eachother up.
